Newborn Baby Photographer Chicago
Sweet, beautiful baby girl Lakelyn…slept like a princess, and was just as good as can be at her newborn session at our Chicago studio. I always love when I get contacted as a newborn baby photographer in Chicago to capture these brand new moments within the family. A family that is now so lucky to have 3 gorgeous daughters, made this a fun, energetic newborn photo session!
First, we started with a simple, classic look on this beautiful textured cream fabric. I love how her sweet swaddle wrap matches perfectly! Swaddles are a Chicago newborn photographer’s best friend! Over the eight years I have been photographing infants and babies in Chicago, one thing is for sure-they love being swaddled! I also accented this look with a beautiful and dainty headband that Mom loved. Completes her look perfectly!
Next, this sweet girl work up for family shots and I love the eye contact she gave us! As a professional Chicago family photographer, this makes my heart sing. I usually advise all my families to come dressed in neutral colors. A soft color palette is a perfect backdrop for the eye to focus on the subjects in each photo. This family looks beautiful. How lucky are they with THREE girls now!!
Also, I have to mention how much I adore photographing siblings! These girls were amazing as we captured them with their new baby sister. Admittedly, capturing siblings with new born baby can be a challenge. But, after so many years, I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to help out during the photo shoot. Parents often worry that their kids won’t cooperate during a newborn session in my Chicago studio, but we just go with the flow!
Once sweet Lakelyn was sound asleep, we got all those adorable posed photos in for Mom and Dad! I love her gorgeous skin tone with the soft greens pulled for this photo. The bucket prop was a fan favorite in the studio during the session.
After, we swaddled baby Lakelyn in this new wrap that I am in love with. Here we were able to capture some great moments! The lighting was just perfect on her skin, with the color of the wrap and head band, for some natural photography magic!
We all were in love with this prop set up at the Chicago newborn photo session! The 2 big sisters loved this little hat set, along with the neutral, soft pink tones of the soft blanket and light pink bucket.
After, Lakelyn was still sound asleep, so I pulled out my macro lens for some of these close up, itty bitty baby body parts shots! I love the detail of a beautiful newborn baby girl’s face. These are images that I don’t want Mom and Dad to forget, so I got up close and took these shots!
Finally, to end our photo shoot, Lakelyn woke up-which I was ok with! I love her alert eyes, while I continued with the macro lens for these final images taken at her Chicago newborn photo shoot.
